A dumb view of retirement from military and reentering workforce after retirement from military

by some who don't have a clue and perhaps hopped on board a government job to secure benefits late in their life them self.
First most military retirees are in their late thirties or early forties, myself 42 after 25 years.
Then considering retirement only provides 50-75% of military basic pay (depending on years of service) during my career, which has changed into various systems now days, there really isn't the money to support ones self and family.
Then there is health care to consider which doesn't kick in until social security/medicare unless one purchases Tricare before then.
Then there is the fact of education, skills, and ability. Military leaders are sought out for those qualities and get paid pretty well.
So there are reasons why most military just doesn't quit and sit on their asses after leaving military service.
