In Response To: For the wanted - let them eat 'CAKE'. . . (MillRatUSMC aka Ricardo)
Ricardo has copied & pasted the text below;
Indeed, William Gale warned that there’s good cause.
For less wealthy Americans to be alarmed about the Republican plan.
Many of the proposal’s cuts for Americans.
At the top are likely to be funded by cuts elsewhere.
What’s clear is that this is a very high tax cut for high income households.
and that the tax cut has to be paid for somehow, he said.
Both things in conjunction do not bode well for low- and middle-income households.
Excerpts from Is This The Tax Plan Blue-Collar 'daft twerp' Supporters Voted For?
As 'daft twerp' president and GOP lawmakers rush to cut taxes by trillions of dollars over 10 years,.
They’re ignoring a basic question of good governance: If we’re going to increase our deficits by nearly $2 trillion.
Are tax cuts that go mainly to the top one percent the wisest way to use that money on behalf of the American people?
The GOP plan is stuffed with goodies for the richest Americans -– eliminating the estate tax.
Reducing the top marginal tax rate, broadening the small business pass-through.
Cutting the corporate income tax.
These measures would hardly help the bottom 60 percent or 80 percent, if at all -–
These hard-working Americans need a financial boost far more than the richest one percent.
And those who have millions to spare to donate to campaigns.
The 'daft twerp' tax cuts seek to reward not the blue-collar workers who elected him.
But instead the billionaire campaign donors who are forever demanding more tax cuts.
If the 'daft twerp' is sincere and serious about creating jobs - especially solid, middle-class jobs.
Infrastructure spending is a far more cost-effective, surefire way to do that than trickle-down corporate tax cuts.
If policymakers are serious about helping blue-collar workers.
They would increase Social Security benefits.
Instead of lavishing trillions on tax cuts on the rich.
Let’s be clear what’s happening here – many in Washington are pushing the tax cuts.
To help those who have done the most to elect them: the wealthy donor class.
While they have the gall to deny that the plan will even help the wealthy.
They’re dressing it up as helping the middle class and working class.
But nobody should be fooled.

This visual will explain better than any words
An sad opinion...the 'daft twerp' problems are all jeff sessions FAULT.
And if the Senate and House resolve their differences on taxes, growth is likely to keep expanding.
With more jobs creating more opportunity for more Americans.
Yet Mueller’s probe is a threat to all that just by its existence.
For example, early reports of Flynn’s guilty plea sent stocks crashing Friday.
As the Dow fell 283 points in eight minutes.
It gained most of it back but settled down 41 points on a day.
When it was poised to climb higher over the tax bill’s progress.
Then again, the roller-coaster day traces back to yet another the 'daft twerp' hiring mistake.
This one his biggest: making jeff sessions attorney general.
sessions’ decision to recuse himself from everything related to the campaign led to Mueller’s appointment.
Had sessions done the honorable thing and declined the AG job.
The 'daft twerp' could have put someone else there and Mueller would still be in private practice.
Instead, we are where we are, careening between progress and disaster, with no end in sight.
