For every man or woman, who served in Vietnam.
Has a different view of their service.
And the ′grunts′ depended on those different services.
Many were in a fixed position, that could and was hit by enemy rocket fire.
But the reality, sooner or later, the reality of what was thought necessary in 1965.
By 1968 and beyond was remarkably devoid, of original meaning.
By 1973, most military units had left Vietnam.
The dead − names in 1983 would be on the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
The wounded would suffer alone, with a ′Purple Heart′ medal for comfort.And there it is...etc
