Both countries enslaved people. Both countries used forced labor for their agriculture and industrial production. Both countries initiated war. Both countries lost their wars.
However, their difference is that post-war Germany has never honored, worshiped nor erected statues and named buildings, roads, schools, military installations, etc. after Nazi leaders and heroes. Germany has tried to wipe its slate clean.
Yet, the losing CSA states have honored, worshiped, erected statues and named buildings, roads, highways, military installations, etc. after CSA leaders and heroes .. all who were, in fact, traitors to the USA.
